Members making use of club facilities must clean up after use including turning off the water and gas as appropriate, Members must not indulge in behaviour which places other members or their property at risk
Security.
All access gates, clubhouse, workshop and sheds must be locked up after use, and Security keys are issued to members subject to a refundable fee
Cleanliness.
The site must be kept tidy at all times , Rubbish must be removed from site and not left around the boats
The club shall adopt such Byelaws or Regulations, as it considers appropriate for the good management of the club and its facilities
Moorings Boats and Land
Allocation of space, management, checking, and supervision of Quayside and other moorings within the clubs jurisdiction will be the responsibility of the executive committee through the mooring officer. The committee depending on requirements may change the location of the space allocated to any member.
Quayside space that is temporarily vacated by a member may be temporarily reallocated by the committee.
All Quayside moorings and land space belong to the club and cannot be transferred
Between members and prospective members. Any member selling their boat will inform the mooring officer if they wish to retain their berth. The purchaser will remove all boats sold from the club area. The only exception to this rule would be if the purchaser were a full member of the club
No club mooring may be allocated to a junior member
No member may use another’s quayside space without permission from the committee
Members shall ensure their boats are securely and adequately moored at all times
All boats within the clubs areas (quayside mooring or creek) will conform to the regulations of the langstone harbour board. A harbour plaque for the current year will be attached in the proscribed manner and all craft will be identified with a name
Only one tender per quayside mooring is to be permitted .Boats designated as tenders to be marked in accordance with the langstone harbour board regulations i.e tender to ~ boat name~ a tender must not exceed twelve feet in length
Subject to a 10 foot wide clearway at all times , from the entrance road through to the southern slipway , club officers may make agreed arrangements for land storage . Repairs may be undertaken on land subject to an agreed time limit .Boat owners who break this limit without valid reasons may be asked to remove their boat and/or trailer.
Craft moored in the creek shall be subject to such length as to comply to the clubs leases, the size and numbers moored at any time shall be at the discretion of the relevant club officers.
The work bay is intended for emergency repairs, this quayside space may be allocated to a member on the proviso that they need to vacate the space temporarily and at short notice
No mooring is allowed either side of the slipway without the authorization of the delegated officer or the committee
Car parking on the clubs land is restricted to the members and bona fide guests . cars will be parked in a reasonable way , keeping the clearways open and clear of all facilities required for general use
Boats are not permitted to use anchors in any of the clubs areas
Members shall not allow hulks, wrecks or derelicts to litter the foreshore ,quayside areas or club property , members whose boats are not being actively worked on and are in a poor condition will be asked to remove their boat .
Full members with craft on the clubs premises will insure such craft, with a recognised insurance company against as a minimum third party claims. In the minimum required by the langstone harbour board. The member must supply a valid copy of the insurance to the secretary for inclusion into the clubs records.
there shall be no digging for bait in the clubs areas
Members will not use their vessels or allow for them to be used from the club for commercial activities i.e. landing of commercial catches or the landing or embarking of paying passengers
